Boyd has done an extensive renovation, and an extension to my house. Both times, it was a pleasure to work with Boyd and his crew. They were professional at all times and nothing was too much trouble. The finish is of a very high quality and on budget. I have no hesitation in recommending Senior Construction.

We engaged Senior Construction to complete an extension and renovation to our family home. From the first meeting we felt confident that Boyd understood what we were trying to achieve in level of execution and was sensitive to our needs as a family accommodating our request to remain in the house as much as possible with minimal disruption.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Senior Construction did on our house renovation in 2023. Boyd and the Site Manager, Dan, were exceptional throughout the entire process. Their communication was clear and consistent, and they were always proactive in solving any issues that arose. They handled everything smoothly, ensuring that any challenges were quickly resolved.

The team of builders working on-site was fantastic. We have small children, and every builder was kind, respectful, and mindful of safety. It gave us real peace of mind to know our kids were in a safe environment.

Senior Construction also did an excellent job managing all the contractors. They made sure every service was delivered to a high standard and provided real value. The end result was outstanding – the quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. Senior Construction undertook an extensive renovation of our home in 2022 and were amazing to deal with throughout the project. We were delighted with the constructive suggestions the team made along the way, which were incorporated into the house, and have been delighted with the finished result.

Boyd leads a great team and has encouraged clear and honest communication so we were always kept up to date. Furthermore Boyd and his team coordinated all the contractors and navigated the sometimes challenging opinion of the Council removing that layer of stress from us and also ensuring the quality of the contractors work met Boyd’s standards. The pride in their work shows not just through the quality of the workmanship but in their clean uniforms, the tidiness of the site and the respect they showed to both us and for our property.

Building a home is never easy, but doing so during COVID and the Auckland floods added an extra layer of complexity on a build that was already groundbreaking and complicated. Despite the challenges, Senior Construction delivered an outstanding final product that met our expectations.

While there were inevitable delays and technical issues outside of their control,  what made the experience positive overall was the leadership of Boyd Senior. He was highly organized, kept the project moving forward, and ensured his team remained focused on achieving great outcomes. His fair and practical approach made a real difference in navigating through the build and producing the final product.

I've had the pleasure of working with Boyd from Senior Construction on several projects over the last 5 years or so. These have generally been residential projects, with a high degree of detail, tough timeframes and often with some unique materials and construction systems employed.

Boyd and team have never shied away from a challenge, and have maintained excellent relationships throughout the projects with the entire project team, from the clients, to consultants like architects and engineers, and council.

Boyd exudes a quiet confidence due the experience he has and is very much someone you can rely on to get the job done and solve problems rather than create them.

This is the reason I recently worked with Boyd and Senior Construction on a personal project over this last year, and I wouldn't hesitate in working with him again on private or client projects.

I was looking to do major extensions to my factory in Glenfield, after talking with Senior Construction, My over the top ideas were eased when Boyd informed me what I wanted could be achieved. We started over a very harsh winter plus covid hit, with all the extras required like tarpaulins over the roof Boyd and his team boxed on and in the middle of 2021 the result was amazing.
