Community

Being a local building company means we are part of the wider community; we are visible through signage, vehicles and our offices in Wairau Valley.

How do we do this? We consider a well-executed construction project good for the community; it provides local jobs and betterment to the area. By doing so we are supporting local shops (pies and coffee!) and businesses as well as improving property values by developing bespoke, beautiful houses.

Having been born in Auckland and after living here for the majority of my life I would like to think, after building here for more than 30 years, that we made a positive impact on our community and will continue to do so into the future.

As an ex-Westlake Boys student, we quickly engaged in the Gateway programme with WBHS. A
fantastic opportunity for young men to gain some onsite experience before committing to leaving
school. This has been a very worthwhile programme for Senior Construction and we have current
staff that started as Gateway students many years ago.

We have been avid supporters of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and have provided a yearly donation over the past 15 years; with no government funding this group provide essential rescue services to those in need.

We are also proud to support Cure Kids and The Kids Day Out Variety Show with yearly donations to  both entities. Being parents of two now young adults we consider ourselves fortunate and helping  people less fortunate than us is very important.
